This beautiful boy is Axel. He is a 16 month old Am Staff with a heart of gold. Axel has food allergies and you can see, he has a lot of inflammation because he wasn't eating the right food. His eyes are swollen shut, he has open sores on his ears and paws, 99% of his body is rashes, but his personality is so gentle and kind. We took Axel into rescue and are in the early stages of getting him the vertinary care he needs, getting him healthy and making his life happier. He is currently on medication that will help him with his pain and itching and we are starting him on a special diet to help him as well. Axel will be available for adoption as soon as his allergies are under control.
